What are strange ~.kde/share/apps/kpdf files?

Thanks for your tip on how to get the version of the soon to be extinct 
kpdf.

lba at arriba ~$ kpdf --version
Qt: 3.3.8b
KDE: 3.5.10
KPDF: 0.5.10
