KMail accounts stored where?

It will become available for Windows as well, it is currently just not one of 
the priorities of KDE's rather small Windows based developer group.

However I think that some German governmental agency has actually contracted a 
local company to improve that, though the timeframe is somewhat end-of-year 
like.

I think this is part of the KMail main configuration file kmailrc.
Usually located in .kde/share/config (or .kde4/share/config if your 
distributor patched KDE to use a different prefix for KDE4), generally it is 
the most local path of

% kde-config --path config
