Thanks for that, and the link is a great resource.  It looks like I'm
having to go outside the GUI apps (K9copy, dvd::rip, acidrip, etc) to
get it all working.  However, as K9copy uses DVDauthor, maybe I can
reconfigure DVDauthor from within it.
