KNode and KMail have completely different origins. Since the time they moved
to KDE PIM and joined the Kontact squad, they were starting to share some
code with each other.

A long standing bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49698 . Not fixed
unfortunately.
