Moving mail over to kmail 1.8.2

It would seem that there is a script that runs when kde is started for the 1st 
time that will do the conversions. Putting the files in the right place is 
one thing but I don't know how to make kde think it's running for the 1st 
time. Find the script though and all should be ok.  I fail to understand why 
the script can't be called from kmail's imports.
