How to manage wishes that became unimportant

Hi,

sometimes an old wish filed to bugs.kde.org becomes unimportant to oneself but 
might be of some importance to other users. How to handle this? Should I set 
such wishes to "resolved" (though it isn't) to not needlessly waste 
developers ressources?
