Xinerama support under KDE 3.4.1 on Gentoo

Actually, I was thinking more in lines of "can I use some kind of
check on some kind of executable/library to make sure xinerama is
compiled in, although I know I have enabled xinerama when compiling?"

Something like: "strings libKde.3.4.so | grep xinerama" or alike?
