If this is a serious suggestion, raising it in the appropriate (developer) 
mailling lists would make sense.   Continuing the conversation here is not 
helping anyone, since such a decision would never be made on the user-support 
list anyway.

I suggest you move this thread (or start it over, with actually intrested 
parties) on a mailling list where it is on topic - kde-usability being the 
obvious candidate.
