I hope you understand I'm not being smart here, but, you need to go to GMAIL's
help and read how to configure your pop3. If you follow their directions,
comparing setting for setting, you'll find that every pop3 mail client is in
essence the same as POP3 is a standard. So, when GMAIL tells outlook express
users to plug "pop.gmail.com" in the pop3 server setting, it will be the same
for KMail, Thunderbird, Evolution, outlook virus express, or whatever else
you're using. You may need to look around on the different tabs and places
in KMail to find all the places where to plug them in, but they are all
generally named the same.

Remember, however, in Konqueror you have "ID's" where you define who you are,
and then Accounts which represents the email account on the server you're
trying to pull from. You'll need an ID that defines your account's name, and
the email address and the name you want to be know by on that account, and
then you need an Account so that KMail knows where to get the mail, the login
ID, login method (security etc.) and where to put the mail (folder or inbox).
etc.

Now, as far as the browser support goes, what that means is that they either:
1. Do not support from a call in perspective any browser but Windoze IE.
2. They use extensions in their HTML code that only work with IE

Either way its not Konqueror's fault, its the coders of the web page. Another
aspect of this is that you may not have a plugin that the page wants to use
for konqueror. This again, may be due to the coders using a product which
only has plugins for IE, or you have not downloaded and installed the plugin.
