Problem with Kfax 1.3.0

I would like to associate fax files with Kfax 1.3.0. However, running Kfax
with a file argument results in all the buttons apart from the File Open
button being greyed-out until a file is opened from within Kfax using the
file-open button. Thus, it is not possible to set up a file association,
click on a fax file from within Konqueror or other app, and then navigate
