Konsole and the Korn Shell Help

I don't know how Korn behaves, but bash reads the .profile or 
/etc/profile only if it is a login shell.
The shell of Konsole clearly isn't a login shell, so it only read .bashrc.

In bash you can source the .profile in the .bashrc file, you always read 
.profile too.

Maybe korn works similar.
