Compiling CVS release code

Hello,

I decided to backout of CURRENT and set the release tag of my copy to 
KDE_3_1_0_RELEASE. Qt compiled ok but now neither configure nor make work 
anymore and Makefile.cvs is of course gone. How do I set up the sourcetree to 
get it working?
