K Menu can not be edited with Menu Editor

How do I reinstall KDE on SuSE using YaST2 ? If I delete then how do I run
YaST2 under another GUI to install it again? I can't get around the others!!
I can not see a reinstall option. If I boot from CD maybe there are options
there.

Yep I would guess this is the correct behaviour but the actual menu is using
etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk
