Do not confuse NDS8 with e-directory both products have the an 8 in them for version 
number but thay are not the same thing. The only require to run e-directory on *nix is 
full PAM support. While NWADMIN is a fine tool it has now begun to fragment with 
some functionality only being available in Console1. If you want a tool to manage users 
groups, printers and services including ldap on a single *nix box or cluster of them how 
about Webmin

Thanks for this hint. I'll look at this later!
But I'm not talking about a tool for Novell's NDS. I'm talking about a tool 
like NWAdmin but for LDAP...
