You were trying to undermine the source, thus underhandedly discrediting the
argument, while trying to conserve a façade of impartiality.

Don't try and confuse the issue: They were arguing that Valencian should be
erased in favour of Catalan. The next step, I argued, would be to erase
Catalán in favour of Castilian Spanish, because, why not, If we are on that
roll?
Either way, you seem to have a clear opinion in this debate, as you have
chosen to try and discredit one side of the argument instead of those of the
offender.
Maybe we should open this up to the whole community and check what we all
honestly think about removing Valencian from the list. I would be curious to
discover what your stance on that would be.
