Migration should be done and only needs some code adjustments, not
necessarily from your side. It only needs to be changed to the new
theme and a new menu file needs to be added, that's basically it. And
as you see from the link shown, it is already done. It just needs to
be committed.
Only thing needed, your decision as board if you want it. :)

The messing can easily be done by us, speaking of style, the
background code. From your side, nothing (apart from content changes,
if you wish to).

I assume those get rendered by a script. That would involve some
changes to honor the new structur.
But what we had in mind when we launched the new kde.org look was to
stay mostly compatible with the old layout. So it shouldn't be too
hard. Are the sources for rendering the html somewhere in svn?
