But you're asking now.  And you've even asserted that the links are a

And KDE is just supposed to trust this admittedly voluntary effort backed 
by a proprietary database and secret source code?

Trolltech was willing to commit its one big product to KDE, to protect 
KDE's use of Qt.  What does Mieterra have to hide, that it can't do the 
same with apps.kde.com?
