You should only need to do the cvs login command the first time as the settings will then be saved, so all you should neeed to do on a regular basis from the www directory from the initial checkout is:

export CVSROOT=":pserver:anonymous at anoncvs.kde.org:/home/kde

cvs up 

That is assuming you have setup your ~/.cvsrc file as per http://kde.org/anoncvs.html
