Proxy problem for installing

Hello,

I wanted to install the latest version of kde on windows, but the installer
doesn't seem to go through my proxy. I tried many configuration (firefox,
IE, manually with different login/password) nothing is going through. In
fact when I do a wireshark dump, I don't see that my credentials are sent
to the proxy (there is just the http request withtout any login/password).
Is there a way to manually configure it somewhere else?
It seems to me by reading the forum (
http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=98368) that I am not the only one
in this case.
