System integration: Snarl & Co.

Hi,

on Windows i use Snarl, a notification System worth supporting.

It would be cool if there would be a way to forward the system notifications
(from Amarok, for example) to one of the APIs listed here:
http://www.fullphat.net/developer/developerGuide/index.html

Also, i have to start applications under admin rights: Is this on the bug
list or is it nigh-impossible to run KDE totally in Windows userland?
