Hi,

when configuring kdebase on win32 the following messages appears:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-- The following REQUIRED packages could NOT be located on your
system.      --
-- Please install them before continuing with this software
installation.    --
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
+ Xine, 1.1.7: xine-lib is required for the multimedia backend
<http://sourceforge.net/project/showf55&package_id=9732>
The xine development libraries (v1.1.7 or above) are required to provide
audio and video support. Us
on is recommended. Run cmake again with the variable
KDE4_DISABLE_MULTIMEDIA set if you really want
 multimedia support.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CMake Error: Exiting: Missing Requirements

Is this really required also when there would be a directsound backen of
phonon ?

Ralf
