Hi students,

How is it going? Coding will begin soon; are you all ready? Is your
blog set up, and on the planet? Have you and your mentors been meeting
regularly, and have a schedule and means of communication all worked
out?

Are you becoming friends with your teammates? Are you on the mailing
lists and other communication channels? Has your developer status been
finalized?

Finally, have you begun your Status Reports? This is what you will
send to Google as your final submission. Here you will link your
project in full splendor. It will remain as something you can link to
in pride of accomplishment for scholarship applications, and even
later as you apply for professional positions. Please begin now
linking your blog reports and code submissions, along with charts,
graphs and other material to show off your work.
