Is KDE really usable?

It generates *some* important stuff, but not all. The user should describe 
what was done in order to get that crash.

I think it would be sufficient if you get beyond the stage "help, Konqueror 
crashes, here's my backtrace:  <useless backtrace here>"

You hit the point. A rough estimation would be that about 95% of the crashes 
are caused by something outside of the Konqueror code base. Which involves 
many thousands lines of code, developed by many different people working on 
very different parts of KDE. You see, it's really difficult to keep the total 
package stable. That's the reason I see no point in replacing Konqueror 
because you'll end up with the same problems again.
