The kde-artists surely how much work it is be the maintainers of all kde 
artwork. But please reflect on this issue before taking it. It is better to 
leave the developers taking care of stuff (following good general guidelines, 
even with loose compliance) if the artist lack the man power to maintain the 
stuff.
