using user defined printers

kdeprint ignores .printers file (is it standard?). However it
is possible to filter available printers, see the kdeprint settings
dialog ("System options" button) and the filter enabling button
next to the printer selection combo box (see
http://www.kde.org/screenshots/images/3.5/23-printing.png).
