Can't print out of some application (cups, network printer)

Hi,

I have a Konica Minolta 2430DL Network Printer (not a real postscript
printer) and I'm using it on Debian sid. I've installed it with cups
version 1.1.23 and I'm using KDE 3.4.2. The cups package from the
manufacturer including the ppd file an raster for the printer is installed
(version 1.5). The printer is connected through LAN, and I configured cups
to connect to the printer through ipp://x.x.x.x/ipp.

I can print fine with OpenOffice, Mozilla, a2ps, cups (test page) without
having configured anything else (all options, also color printing are
available). But when I try to print something in kwrite, evolution or some
PDF Viewer, the following happens:

(from cups error_log)
I [04/Jan/2006:11:06:10 +0100] Job 133 queued on mc2430dl by testuser.
I [04/Jan/2006:11:06:10 +0100] Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstops
(PID 22357) for job 133.
I [04/Jan/2006:11:06:10 +0100] Started filter
/usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster (PID 22358) for job 133.
I [04/Jan/2006:11:06:10 +0100] Started filter
/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertokm2430dl (PID 22359) for job 133.
I [04/Jan/2006:11:06:10 +0100] Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/ipp
(PID 22360) for job 133.
E [04/Jan/2006:11:06:16 +0100] [Job 133] Print file was not accepted
(client-error-document-format-not-supported)!
E [04/Jan/2006:11:06:16 +0100] PID 22360 stopped with status 1!

And then the printer gets stopped and I have to remove the job and start the
printer manually.

I took a look into the spool dir of cups, the file that can't be processed
is a PostScript document text conforming at level 3.0.

I have no idea what the problem and I'm thankful for any hints.

Greets,
Anna
