HTML image printing does not work (KDE 3.1.0)

What also leads me to believe that is the fact that I am currently printing 
a 100-page PDF document incl. images etc. using Acrobat Reader and 
kprinter without problems so I assume that ghostscript/CUPS are working 
fine. It seems that just HTML pages with images are affected.
