Thanks for your reply!

I've done that and yes, I get that error, too. The PS file that contains
images produces the following error with "gv":
Error: /rangecheck in null
Operand stack:
Execution stack:
%interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval--
--nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval--
--nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3
%oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval--
--nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval--
1 3 %oparray_pop --nostringval-- --nostringval--

Current file position is 15291
GNU Ghostscript: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1
Whereas the other PS file without images can be viewed without problems.

I'm using ghostscript 5.50 and CUPS 1.1.13. Both are rather "old", I know
that, but they did work up until now and my CUPS is newer than the
required version (1.1.9) for KDE 3.1. Since I have this problem at work
and at home (using different versions of ghostscript and CUPS at work,
don't know exactly what versions at the moment) I think the root cause of
the problem could be somewhere else. Any ideas?
Regards, Stefan.
