any idea what the actually relevant difference is then to the other clients? 
Looking at DavDroid (https://gitlab.com/bitfireAT/dav4jvm/blob/master/src/
main/kotlin/at/bitfire/dav4jvm/DavCalendar.kt#L139), they seem to be using 
just the path rather than absolute URLs as well (ie. like our current code), 
which makes me wonder if this is rather about some kind of URL mangling than 
the full URL vs. just path part?
