Hey,
> I will keep it at this first batch for now and continue at another time.
Thanks a lot for your work. To do not unnessary work here is the plan we came
along at the sprint:
* Close all kmail1 bugs with RESOLVED/UNMANTAINED. done already while the
kdepim sprint.
* Close all older bugs < 4.12 after we released the first Qt5 version
(~August/September).
* Than go slowly doing the same with bugs that hasn't got reponse.
^^ This is the plan to get rid of most invalid bugs. But doing a more detailed
triage would be nice, but is not doable for such a small team.
So things to care about for another round of bug triage:
* the affected version is getting now important. So if the bug is still
valid, than push the version to the current version.
* everything that is not there anymore (nepomuk etc.) close with
RESOLVED/UNMANTAINED with a nice message, why we did that ( have a look at the
message we created for kmail bugs).
>[13:54:03] <helios21> I wonder about procedure on waiting for info. In some
requests for information on very outdated bugs I announced that I will close
within a month in case of no reply, but is that even necessary when setting
"waiting for info"?
IMO close the bugs if the user do not response within a reasonable time with
Resolved/Watingforinfo together with a nice message, that we can not help if
we do not get response, so we close the bug. The user can repopen it again if
he matters and the adds more info.
Looking forward for another triage round :)
Regads,
sandro
