I can't help you there since i just don't know either. I'm sure some
of the KDE PIM people knows more in this area. Usually it takes a
little while before someone responds because there are just less KDE
PIM people then there are for kde core devel or plasma.. You could try
asking on irc (freenode) on #akonadi if you want.
