The Synthesis engine (the work horse underneath SyncEvolution) has some
support for this situation:

Translating those into something understood by other devices should
possible with the Synthesis vCard conversion code. Dinesh needs to adapt
some XML files to make that work. Of course, the devil will be in the
details, in particular if there is no exact match in the semantic.
