Right, ok.
Maybe it would have been better to release two versions. One with whatever has 
been finished by spring 2009 and one when the whole roadmap is completed.

I think the problem was that we got the impression that their next release was 
only a short time ahead [1], otherwise we would probably have put out efforts 
into working with their old version.

I am pretty sure they know that everybody else is waiting for them for at 
least a  year now.

[1] I wasn't at the mentioned meeting, but from what I've been told or rather 
I remember having been told it was like being promised a release by the end of 
the year 2008.
