did you update your Akonadi server recently? There was a temporary bug in the 
database upgrade code that caused such problems. This has been fixed now, so 
to get your database back into working order you need to do the following:

(1) update to the latest Akonadi server version
(2) in akonadiconsole, db browser tab, select the schemaversion table and 
change the value to 12 there
(3) restart the server
