[Kde-pim] Google PIM Support

I love the applications in KDE PIM but I've stopped using them (except KMail) 
as much lately as all my information is stored with Google 
(contacts/tasks/calendar).

I was thinking of writing a library for kdepimlibs which uses the Google Data 
APIs (http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/) to provide access to PIM data. This 
would then also become an Akonadi resource.

Thoughts? Has any work been done on this by anyone else yet (other than the 
Blogger Data API in the KBlog library)?
