Indeed we spent a lot of time making use of kdirwatcher && friends, so two 
instances CAN work on the same ical file.
However, I agree with having ktimetracker a kuniqueapplication - the main use 
of our kdirwatching is that if korganizer modifies the ical file, 
ktimetracker updates its own content.
