IIRC, we intentionally force korgac to run whenever korganizer runs.
This is because we had so many complaints from people saying
that they didn't get a reminder and we always were telling them
to make sure korgac is running.

There isn't any korganizer option that says not to start korgac.
Maybe there should be, dunno.  But that would be a wish.

No, that bug is different.  And I can't reproduce it.
Bug 109669 says that korgac doesn't obey the "don't start
at login" option.  Which should work.  But if you ever run
korganizer (standalone or from kontact) korgac will be started
for you.
