Hi Sebastian,

Yes.
I started a new kdepim branch in branches/work/kdepim-3.5.5+ for the purpose
of jumpstarting new features in the pim apps, mainly KMail and KOrganizer.

So, the KMail in there includes Monur's custom tagging feature
http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=36322

It crashes a lot. And there are many improvements needed (like using tags
in the message search criteria). And GUI issues. Even so, I really
love the feature. I had hoped to have it ready for KDE 3.5.6, but that
is _not_ going to happen as there is still too much polishing needed.

No idea how Nepomuk works, nor if the current tagging system should
be replaced or "enhanced" by Nepomuk.

Does it make sense to Nepomuk this KMail? There are a bunch of people
using this KMail on a daily basis, so you would have a built-in set of testers.
Certainly, KMail should use the "standard KDE-way of tagging", and this
seems to be the way of Nepomuk.

In conclusion:
 1. tagging in KMail is great stuff
 2. the current tagging we are playing with needs work
 3. we want the KDE-way of tagging in KMail
 4. we can Nepomuk the KMail in branches/work/kdepim-3.5.5+
 5. we'd welcome your expertise

Regards,
Allen
