[Kde-perl] Massive PerlQt memory leakage

I'm using PerlQt for a long running GUI process and I'm seeing massive memory
losses, even when the application is not doing anything but getting a one second
timer tick and update a qlabel. I've seen a couple of other posts about similar
problems, but have not been able to see people confirming or denying the
existense of memory leakage in PerlQt.

Does anybody have any information about this?
