right, but
1. that's the "beauty" of a software implemented mixer - more for less :)
2. yeah, most dj don't - but nowerdays everyone calls himself a dj....*g* 
ever tried to do a 15sec x-fade without "base removal" or "voice cut" or 
similar gimmicks?

as a dj or a signal processing dude? ;) some of the latter can even read whole 
sentences from a spectrum print...freaks, i know ;)

sarcasm anyone?! please take most of my comments with a grain of salt...i just 
can't help myself.

ok, you should hear it, right? but some nummeric values are still nice to have 
- and the "bonus": it really sucks to do it right in software *hehe*

while killing anybody getting to close to their vinyl ;)

i've never done so - see above :) but i just hope a level meter is still
