Well, I thought about suggesting kdemultimedia for this release and then
possibly breaking it back out when we head for 4.x, but decided that would be
a little silly. Basically it comes down to a packaging issue -- external
developers and packagers that are interested in using TagLib in non-KDE apps
don't really want to have a dependancy on a kdemultimedia package.

kdeextragear or kdesupport again would have the advantage that it's an "easy"
dependancy for KDE developers (being most of the target audience) -- i.e.
they just checkout a new directory

Well, the idea would be to then add a dependancy on TagLib (for the relevant
plugins -- and JuK).

I thought about the same -- I have no problems with it going into kdesupport
instead, it's just that kdesupport's been pretty dead lately.
