What is total code bloat, and how does it hurt us?  Do you think KDE's 
on-disk size is a problem?  Do you think libraries that aren't loaded 
occupy RAM?

Note that aRts is used, directly or indirectly in:

kdelibs
kdebase
kdeedu
kdegames
kdemultimedia
and in separately released apps

And artsc is used widely, in libraries like SDL that are used all over the 
place.
