Hi Ian,

I’ve been quite since I had moved on to KDE-FRAMEWORKS-DEV mailing
list because of the KDE/CI system based on OSX/MacPorts. ;)

Came across otool also at some time… ;)

Wow!!!
Congratulations, Ian!

All this in your user directory?

Could you document all that on the respective KDE web site, so that
others can achieve the same with less trouble?!

There is for instance P at sNox who wants to work on KWindowInfo [1] on
Pixilla’s KDEVM and I think it would be great if he could actually build
and run all of his stuff in his home directory without influence on the
other users present on that machine.

Cool.

I see, you probably would want to get those fixed before starting
documentation issues…

Hmmm...
Phonon is a frequent source of trouble. :/
Anyway, do you actually get sound on your KDE installation?
I never had it.
This is why hydrogen got a phonon-vlc backend up and running a few days ago.
I started to write a portfile, but due to the KDE/CI system efforts I haven’t
gotten forward with it lately.
So, I’d would puzzle me, if you would tell me that your sound is working… ;)

I see.

That’s odd.
Probably this is something to report to KMM’s developer mailing list, since
I remember that David had introduced new CMake code just for libalkimia, just
a few days ago!!!

Greets,
Marko
