I fear currently I can't recommend any. There are three options open:

1) The mpkg version on http://mac.kde.org/ - super old, buggy but
installation is simple - once you read all the tech-notes with all the
workaround for all the bugs.

2) The MacPorts version on theiggy.com. Good start but somehow
stalled. And incompatible with the kde3 installation from MacPorts,
The later being the reason why I never got round to fully test the
version.

3) MacPorts is probably stalled because of the plans to create a cross
platform release using CPack. While a cross platform packaging sounds
great - there is not a single CPack release yet. I read up on the
CPack documentation and I think they are not as far as MacPorts. As
such CPack might turn out to be still born.

Personally I like MacPorts most, it got a very active community and
with it's ability to produce debian and red hat packages sufficiently
cross platform. CPacks only advantage is the NSIS (MS-Windows) support.

But as it is, and as I said in the beginning: I can't recommend any.

Regards

Martin
