zypper is a Suse only utility. It is not part of KDE. It  normally is
used via the Yast program and uses the repositories as setup in Yast.
But is also has a command line interface. For more info type
man zypper
It looks like you may be trying to upgrade to KDE 4.3 from non-Suse
sources. AFAIK 4.3 has not been released for Suse 11.1 in a stable form.
11.2 is due in a month or two I believe it will use 4.3
