I would like to make two suggestions for you.  The first is that you NOT 
"cross-post", but write to KDEPIM-USERS only.  Cross-posting is NOT 
appreciated, and kdepim-users is a more specific forum than is kde-linux.

The second is that you supply relevant information details.  From this 
message alone, as it is written, NOBODY can responsibly guess what 
distro you are using (let alone its versions), what version of KDE you 
have, or what version of KMail is running.  Such details CAN be 
extremely important, and you have specified NOTHING.

I wish that I could offer a solution to your irritation.  Sadly, I do not 
know enough to do so -- so I will not send useless stories to you!  But 
I hope that you will make it much easier for the experts to help you.
