interesting, when viewing the properties of the pdf on C0 the page size 
report 21.9583 x 14.2611 in. on C1 and C2 both say Letter (8.5 x 11.0)

C0: 1900x1200
C1: 1440x900
C2: headless

tried it unchecked and it still behaves the same...

ten points... C0 was set to disabled and have Use anti-aliasing set to 
System Settings... C1, C2 are still set to disabled and the same for 
anti-aliasing...

myself for not buckling sooner and asking... :)
