Marcelo already clarified the misunderstanding, just some additional things:
- this mailinglist is absolutely appropriate for this kind of questions

- there is, however, an additional mailinglist especially for question around 
KDE's PIM applications (e.g. KMail): kdepim-users

- there is a KDE forum for web based inter-user support: www.kde-forum.org
