[kde-linux] Accident loses sound

Hi again, Matt.  Yes, I had done that.  Unbelievably sound has returned this 
morning.  I had tried a log-out and reboot yesterday after trying various 
suggestions, and nothing seemed to be different, but this morning it is 
working, with no obvious explanation.
