[kde-linux] Kmail in an infinite loop

To who may concern,

I have a Kmail 1.4.3 and KDE release 3.0.5. on a Suse Linux 9.2, the kmail 
when in a infinite loop.
I tried to shutdown and bring it backup up couple of time, still not fix the 
problem.

Can you please tell me where I can find a fix for this problem.
